How does the free trial work?
The trial is the full service for twenty-four hours. Not a cut-down version, not a sample of channels: the same thing a paying customer gets.
There is no card involved. Nothing charges at the end, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to forget about.
One trial per household. This is not a formality. It is how we keep the service working for people who are actually going to use it, and we do check.
Use the twenty-four hours properly. Watch at nine on a weeknight when everyone in the country is streaming, because that is when a weak service falls over. Try it on the oldest device in the house, not the newest. And open something on demand as well as live channels, because they are not the same thing under the bonnet.
Step by step
- Ask for the trial Tell us your name, your email address and which device you want to watch on.
- Get your login We send your login details to that email address.
- Install the app Put the player app on your device and enter the login details we sent you.
- Test it properly Watch at the busiest time of your evening, on the worst device in the house, and open a film on demand as well as live channels.
Quick answers
Will I be charged when the trial ends?
No. There is no card on file and nothing renews. The trial simply stops.
Can I get a second trial?
One per household. If you need longer to decide, open a ticket and tell us why rather than starting again with a new email address.
How long until I get my login?
It is sent to the email address you gave us. Check your spam folder if it has not arrived.
Still stuck? Open a ticket and tell us what you tried, which device, and what time of day it happens. That gets a useful answer faster than "it is not working".
